Repectfully Robert, from your post this person could only conclude that you are both an 'absursity' and an 'insult' to God and Christ by your claim to be a friend of Christ.

How so? I merely pointed out a fallacy in his reasoning and that the conclusion he was drawing was absurd. The poster in fact admitted that he didn't even believe what he was saying anyway, which makes his point all the more absurd.

The reality is that you appear in your posts to be nothing but a spiteful, unreasonable wind-bag with a penchant for theological fraud.

I made a valid point. You on the other hand contributed absolutely zero to the topic at hand. Who now is the mere windbag? Or as Job asked of the apostates of his day: Is there an end to windy words? / You know

The glaring condradiction in your reasoning is that if God's judgment begins with his own house first, as the scripture says, that means in fact that it is God's house. Your fallacy is in the faithless assumption that Jehovah is not cognizant or that he is incapable of dealing with corruption within his organization. That of course is an absurdity and an insult to both God and Christ. / You Know

the heavy-handed tactics of the leaders of the watchtower society have begun to bear rotten fruit.

i suspect that it is just a matter of time before the need arises to coin some phrase to describe disfellowshipped or disassociated jehovah's witnesses who bomb conventions, shoot up kingdom halls or even attack bethel facilities.. leaders of the wts (and local elders) should stop and think about the lessons to be learned from columbine high school, the postal service (i.e.

There are literally dozens of Pslams and prophecies that forecast that very thing. Jesus even said that at some point everyone that kills one of God's servants will be so deluded so as to imagine that he has rendered a sacred service to God. Unquestionaly, during the tribulation Jehovah will allow a demonic spirit to more fully animate the horde of blinded apostate dupes, and others, to perform their imagined sacred service. Just as Judas took the lead in persecuting Christ, the coming apostate-led atrocities against the brothers of Christ will be the reason Jehovah God annihilates the godless attackers at the war of Armageddon. SUICIDE IN KH PARKING LOT

last saturday, a former ministerial servant and pioneer committed suicide in the woodinville washington kingdom hall parking lot.

he was disfellowshipped several years ago, and according to the old sister that related the story to me today, he was depressed because no one would talk to him.

i don't know how i kept calm when she explained to me that "we couldn't talk to him...he was disfellowshipped.".

I have personally known of three suicides of JW's that were all related to WTS issues. All of them had been raised as JW's, been disfellowshipped and killed themselves while disfellowshipped.

There are tens of thousands of people disfellowshipped every year. Most of them are young people. A large percentage of them eventually get their lives together and are reinstated and those that don't don't kill themselves. A motive for suicide, whether JW's or not, is an infantile way of getting back at parents and others, in this case the Watchtower Society, a sort of "you'll feel bad when I'm gone" rational. Some young people go the other way and go mow down teachers and fellow students or parents with a machine gun. But, blaming the institutions is not the answer. Murder is never justified, whether it's self-murder or otherwise, and the murderer ultimately has to bear the responsibility.

How you can dismiss these lives in such an arbitary way is very sad indeed.

I think suicide is a tragedy, and as everyone knows, it's a big problem these days among young people. Thousands of young people stupidly throw their lives away every year. Because a few happen to have been disfellowshipped JWs is simply another issue that apostates sieze upon to accuse the Watchtower.

If you represent the views of JW's by your dismissive comments, you have driven even more to the boundaries of their faith.

And if you really want to be perverse you could blame Judas' suicide on Jesus and the other apostles.

Suicides happen to be more common in the Northwest than other parts of the country. Some think it's due to the long periods of gloomy weather that makes some people more suceptible to depression and suicide. Of course, it's easy to blame it on the evil cult, and that's what we would expect apostates to do. The sad fact is though that thousands of young people kill themselves every year for a variety of reasons and only a handful of them ever had any connection to Jehovah's Witnesses. / You Know

War is your trump card. WW2 was the most devastating war ever. But ONE war does not make a pattern. WW1 wasn't the most destructive war before that either.

As the Society is keen to point out, the signs of the end are COMPOSITE, that is they all must be happening concurrently to be the sign of the end.

Well, it won't be clear exactly how that prophecy fits together until the tribulation commences, because as Jesus said, "When you see all these things, know that he is near at the doors," all these thing would include events of the tribulation, which hasn't occurred yet.

You are guilty of unwarranted speculation, going beyond what is written and thus have become a false prophet.

I am not speculating. I laid out how the present crisis has the unique potential, like no other, to fulfill Christ's prophecy. The fact that not on of the apostates has an answer to the challenge proves its relevance. Besides, according to apostates, the Watchtower is the false prophet, why should I be bound by them? Let's face it, you don't want to think about things that might lead you to feel uncomfortable about the bad decisions you have made.

You have steadfastly ignored answering the various posters that have answered your challenge except with snide comments without substance.

I didn't say that the present crisis is unique to the exclusion of all others. You and others have missed the point entirely. I explained what makes the present crisis unique in regards to the potential it possesses to fulfill an aspect of Christ's prophecy. I am merely one, of perhaps of a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses, who choose to defend their faith on this board. On the other hand, there are literally hundreds of apostates who make the boast of knowing the truth about the truth. Over the years I have fielded literally hundreds of questions and challenges from countless posters. Yet, now, I respectfully presented a very simple and challenge that not one person has been able to answer in any satisfying way. And, yet, the issue strikes at the very core of the apostasy's criticism of the truth and the very future of everyone living. Surely, there is someone who could put forth a clear and concise answer to the challenge I presented? Obviously, though, none of you have an answer, only bluster. Do you really think truth will not eventually bite the fool who dares to treat it with such contempt? / You Know
